Hello,

We had the same idea as you - why re-invent the wheel! We have summarised policies from the first 25 NDPs. There's been quite a flurry of referendums in the last few months and we did not update the collection. However we found 25 was plenty. This was quite useful with maybe a few caveats:
- categories seem to have different meanings for different groups so be prepared for a lot of reading
- some wording may be more effective than other, careful what you use depending on what your intentions are!

We use surveymonkey and do ask for names and addresses. However, they are not compulsory fields but we do make postcode compulsory. This enables you to filter out responses from outside the area. Does that help?

However, if you don't get anywhere with that, why not follow Independents for Frome's example and stand for election? They did, now run the Council and now have a Neighbourhood Plan. Without their vision and drive Frome wouldn't have one.

Hi,

As far as we know, your neighbourhood plan can contain anything (Within London strategic planning framework and EU Human Rights Law). Don't forget that your plan must pass the referendum, which mean it must be inclusive and consented by the majority.

I am part of the Bethersden Nhood Plan Housing Subgroup and are going through the same exercise. We had a general village survey ran by the Parish Council posted to everyone in the village. The results of the housing part of that survey, we are developing into a more detailed questionnaire around housing needs. The subgroup will use the August village fete to capture people's responses and this event is well attended.

Hi Steve. As it currently stands all grant monies must be both applied for, and spent, by December 2014.

The current programme ends in March 2015 and we don’t as yet have any information about future spending plans by the Department for Communities and Local Government. It is also very difficult to predict when spending decisions will be made given the run up to the general election in May 2015.
